I have distributed the culture audit to a handful of teachers. My concern is that the information they are providing, for the most part, is negative toward our principal, who is also my mentor. How do I go about getting him to sign off on this project without him seeing the comments? It could really damage things around here!
I don't know what you do in this situation. I can see how this might be problematic. My culture audit is an online survey so the results are anonymous. My principal actually is using my culture audit instead of one he put together and then is going to use the information for our school improvement plan.
I expressed my concerns to Dr. Mike. He told me if any of my evidence would put me in jeopardy that I should send the entire exhibit to him without getting my mentor's approval/initials. Takes a load off my mind!
I'm going to submit my school culture audit that I completed in 616 and I'm also doing a whole school audit and I will include the results also.
